It was a night of celebration for the Ottawa-Gatineau lighting community as the industry came together to recognize the best Lighting & Design projects in the city.
The excitement in the room grew as guests started to arrive for the opening cocktail hour, chatting with friends and colleagues and making new connections from other parts of the industry as photos of the recognized projects rolled in the background.
IES Ottawa President Emerson Joekumar formally kicked off the evening, introducing the Section and throwing in a few lighting puns throughout his opening remarks.
An excellent spread from Lago Bar & Grill brought the volume down for a few minutes as everyone enjoyed their meal, and then, the awards began.
13 projects were recognized in four categories – Interior Lighting & Design, Exterior Lighting & Design, Green Lighting & Design, and Best Overall Lighting & Design.
