The IES Ottawa is proud to present the 2023-2024 Dinner & Awards Gala.
Join us January 25th at Lago Bar & Grill as we celebrate outstanding contributions to lighting & design in Ottawa!
Nominations are now open!
Projects must be completed in the past two years. To be qualified to submit for the 2025 IES Illumination Awards, projects must be completed in the past year.

Best Overall Lighting & Design
The Best Overall Lighting & Design Award recognizes overall excellence in lighting, design, and application from all submissions received. All nominations are automatically considered for the Best Overall Award.
The Best Overall winner will also receive photography and submission costs for the 2025 IES Illumination Awards for their project.
Best Interior Lighting & Design
The Interior Lighting & Design Award recognizes excellence in lighting design and application in all aspects of interior lighting. This award celebrates achievements in aesthetics, applied technical function, creative solutions to demanding site conditions. We invite all Indoor lighting applications to apply.
Best Exterior Lighting & Design
The Exterior Lighting & Design Award recognizes excellence in lighting design and application in all aspects of exterior lighting. The program celebrates achievements in aesthetics, applied technical function, creative solutions to demanding site conditions. We invite all Outdoor lighting applications to apply.
Best Green Lighting & Design
The Green Lighting & Design Award recognizes excellence in lighting design and application in all aspects of environmentally friendly lighting. The program celebrates achievements in LEED certified projects, creative solutions to demonstrate a more environmentally friendly approach to lighting versus traditional lighting, as well as lighting retrofits that greatly impact the power consumption of a building. We invite all Green initiative lighting applications to apply.
Submission Details
Nominations must be completed using the form linked below by Friday, December 22nd. Late submissions will not be considered for nomination.
Companies may nominate multiple projects for any or all of the categories. Please submit a separate nomination form for each project.
All qualified projects will be recognized by the IES Ottawa at the Dinner & Awards Gala. Additional awards will be presented to the Best project for each category, as judged by members of the IES Ottawa Board of Managers.
